WWE and Hollywood star John Cena has a lot in his career to be proud of. He is a 16-time world champion, headlined multiple WrestleMania and is now part of a successful movie franchise, and has his own hit TV series. But apart from his accomplishments in the world of sports entertainment, his fans know Cena for his charity work and philanthropic nature. His work with the Make-A-Wish foundation is astounding, as he has constantly fulfilled a number of wishes to his fans.
And yet again The Champ left the fans amazed after he met some young fans facing health issues prior to his SmackDown return. Cena made a name for himself as a hero to the young kids for his in-ring character and he continues to earn the respect of fans for his work outside the ring.

John Cena’s ‘never give up’ attitude and his WWE character made him a hit among young fans. The Franchise Player divided opinions in the ring, but everyone admires philanthropic work. During his time as WWE’s poster boy, Cena was constantly granting wishes with the Make-A-Wish foundation and now holds the record for the most number of wishes fulfilled.
In the past, Cena has often talked about why he does this and described a personal connection with fans. His fulfillment of a record number of wishes has earned him the adulation of fans worldwide, and this was the case again when he met a few young kids dealing with difficult health issues. WWE Community’s Twitter page posted a series of photos in which Cena is seen with these young fans.
Cena has been granting wishes since 2002 and is in fact the most requested celebrity. As these photos of Cena meeting with the ailing young children went online, fans were quick to praise the Doctor of Thuganomics for his actions. One fan wrote, “Genuine hero.” Another fan commented, “Already back to doing what John Cena does better than any other athlete/celeb.”

It is easy to see why Cena enjoys such popularity among WWE fans. Despite being on a busy schedule, he always finds time to meet such fans and give them a moment of joy. Such gestures by the Hollywood actor have led to an even stronger connection between him and the fans.
