Despite being good friends now, John Cena and Dwayne Johnson had a brief moment of real-life rivalry that stemmed from their WWE feud. This heat came from the time when “The Cenation Leader” called out Johnson for his ‘wrist notes’ during one of their promos together in 2012. The moment was unscripted and “The Rock” was then angry at his colleague for exposing him in front of the audience.
John Cena regrets making fun of Dwayne Johnson nearly 12 years ago
Although the two WWE legends made up for it eventually, Cena believes that Johnson wouldn’t make the same mistake ever again. While talking to John Cena on his show Impaulsive, Logan Paul asked the 16-time WWE Champion if he believes that “The Brahma Bull” wrote his recently popular line, “Should The Rock sit at the Head of the Table,” on his wrist.

Feeling confident about his colleague, John Cena gave a witty reply to the social media influencer during the podcast episode.
Cena replied, “No. Because one thing I know about Dwayne, he never makes the same mistake twice.” He further criticized himself by confessing, “I didn’t know I was gonna do that. It was one of those things where it happened in the last minute and looking back at it, it was f*****g stupid.”
The Hollywood superstar then closed off his thought process by saying, “I don’t blame him for that. I blame myself for taking advantage of that.” This implies that even after a decade, John Cena has given the fight with DJ his full thought and has learned from his mistakes. Even though Cena doesn’t hold a grudge, he believes he should have been more professional at the moment.
