In a recent interview, The Legend Killer Randy Orton opened up about the accusations against Vince McMahon, former CEO and Chairman of WWE. With a lawsuit ongoing, Orton seemed to be in disbelief at the allegations that had been leveled against McMahon, especially as he said that he wouldn’t be where he was now without McMahon’s help.
The relationship between Vince McMahon and Randy Orton has been pretty strong, with Orton working for WWE for nearly 24 years. He ran into the boss a few times early on because of his problems, but Mr. McMahon seemed to like him. It helped him stay in WWE despite several hiccups during his career.

Orton worked closely with McMahon on several projects during his 24-year WWE career. The 14-time World Champion said that Mr. McMahon influenced his job success. But Orton was upset when reports against McMahon came out, saying, “I’ve seen the horrible things online that I don’t want to believe because this man has done so many things for me.”
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, he said, “I’ve got to say this–I wouldn’t be where I am without Vince McMahon taking a chance on me a handful of times. I would not be where I am today without Vince McMahon. But, f**k, I’m reading this sh**. What you’ve seen and read, I’ve seen and read. As far as commenting on that, it f*****g hurts my heart. It hurts my heart.”
Currently, the federal government is also looking into claims mentioned in a lawsuit filed against McMahon. McMahon, who quit as executive chairman of TKO, just days after the case became public, has maintained his innocence, rejecting claims made by Janel Grant, a former WWE employee who had filed the lawsuit.

Orton said discussing details was hard because he had not heard McMahon’s side. “Part of me wants to not believe it and then the other part of me understands that he could have done all these wonderful things for me and the business and created this amazing thing that will go on and on well after he’s gone, but on the other hand he’s human and he made some f–king terrible mistakes,” he said.
Orton isn’t the first to speak out on the allegations. Recently Cody Rhodes had also spoken about the allegations, saying there is currently “a little bit of a dark cloud over everything” after the Royal Rumble.
