FTR recently made their debut on AEW Dynamite and it was electrifying. The tag-team duo seemed to enjoy every bit of it. Cash Wheeler of FTR said that the debut was “exactly how we had planned it”.

In the post-match interview, he revealed how they were a bit rusty because they hadn’t seen action for a long time.

“This went better than expected for us,” says Wheeler. FTR’s debut had a lot of legends and coaches looking at them eagerly. On bringing up that topic, Wheeler seemed excited.

“It’s all guys we’ve looked up to our whole career and modeled ourselves after,” says Wheeler. Cash Wheeler is very enthusiastic about the entire thing. The debut went very well for him.

FTR may be looking at approaches from a lot of coaches. Wheeler is particularly thrilled because the coaches that watched them today were the same people that he looked up to.

The prospect of actually working with them outs a smile on Wheeler’s face. Dax Harwood on the other hand did not follow the same humility as his partner did.

Calling Wheeler “a humble boy,” Harwood acknowledges the fact that all eyes were on them that night. “We’re the absolute best Tag team on this planet,” remarks Harwood.

FTR is ready for the big leagues

Definitely still influenced by the adrenaline rush, Harwood seems to ready to take on the world. He claims that there isn’t another team that could take them down, not only in the company but in the world.

Harwood is certain that FTR brings a little more money and prestige to the promotion and has made it clear that they are here to stay.

“You’ve got the pinnacle of the tag-team division in FTR,” says Harwood. FTR really are making their rounds on the news. Their in-ring capabilities have even earned them comparisons to Arn and Tully who are widely regarded as the best tag team of all time.

FTR, originally in WWE, left after a fall out with Vince McMahon. They weren’t successfully incorporated into any major storyline and felt wasted at WWE.

After leaving, they were later signed by AEW and have already made their impact. The two have already begun proving Mr. McMahon wrong and will eventually make him realize that he made a huge mistake.
