It will be a rare sight in WWE to see a wrestler as over as Hulk Hogan was in the 80s. The fans and stars who witness the same will tell how great of a deal The Hulkster was back then.
However, many have also alleged the WWE legend for never putting over other wrestlers. He might have taken this step to protect his character.

Nevertheless, Hogan has always denied those allegations every time. Also, if you look over the career of ‘The Immortal One’, he took the loss several times in WWE and WCW.

In one of the resurfaced Wrestling Shoot Interviews on YouTube, Hogan talked about putting several wrestlers over in his later career. He took some big names of WWE stars he put over. Moreover, he claims what he did was what Vince McMahon told him was best for business.
The Hulkster said, “If he had told me to take a Super Kick and do 1-2-3, even everybody says I’ve never done a job. If you go back and look at my career, I’ve pretty much lost more matches in the last 15 years.
He added, “I’ve won trying to get guys over from Triple H, The Undertaker and The Rock, to this guy you name it. I don’t win too many matches, but it’s business. I’m trying to help these guys”
The WWE Hall of Famer talked about this while discussing his match with Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam 2005. Mr.McMahon wanted Hogan to win, and it happened the same way. However, Mr. WrestleMania over-sold every move which made that match the most famous one in the history of WWE.
There are several times the 12-time world champion put over other wrestlers. The most memorable ones are when he lost against Tony Atlas, Kurt Angle., etc in WWE Also, in WCW, Hogan dropped the world title against Lex Luger, which is one of the feel-good moments in wrestling history.

Once Hogan took a loss to put over a Canadian wrestling legend
While The Hulkster was a bad guy in WCW as a part of nWo, he did one good deed for a friend. In a wrestling show in Montreal, Canada, Hogan took a loss against The Mountie Jacques Rougeau while he was the WCW Champion.
While speaking with Inside the Ropes Rougeau said, “But when we got to the building, he said he wanted to do the job for me. I thought he was joking. But he meant it.”

That was one of the greatest moments for Rougeau and the local fans. By taking this defeat, the WWE legend paid tribute to Rougeau’s family to have contributed to the industry in Montreal.
