Damien Priest finally made his main roster debut in the Royal Rumble match, registering a superb performance. The former North American Champion eliminated four people before being tossed out by Bobby Lashley.
Priest got rid of Elias, tossing the musical menace out in a matter of minutes. He then rid the Rumble of The Miz and John Morrison. Bad Bunny annoyed Miz by rejecting his offer to team up with him and Morrison, which forced the Grammy winning artist to come out. With the men distracted, Priest clotheslined them both over the top rope.
Priest’s final elimination was Rumble match legend Kane. The Mayor of Knoxville is famous for eliminating eleven men in a single Rumble match. His elimination was a big scalp for Priest and served as a great introduction to the main roster.

While Damien Priest’s arrival was big news, there were a ton of returns that also made headlines. From a former fan favourite to probably the coolest wrestler of all time, this Rumble had everything.
Carlito Colon finally made his return to the WWE, entering the Rumble match at #8. He looked absolutely jacked and was freakishly athletic, pulling out his trademark backstabber and a perfect kip-up. The former US Champion had a good run before being tossed out by Elias.
Entering his record 18th Royal Rumble match, Kane dominated the 2021 Rumble match till he was also tossed out. He picked up two big eliminations in Ricochet and Dolph Ziggler, before Damien Priest tossed him out. His reunion with Daniel Bryan and the chokeslam that followed was also a pleasant touch.

While the Hurricane was a decent throwback, it was the return of Christian that would have received the biggest pop in the match. Seeing Captain Charisma back in the ring and wrestling like he was young again was a beautiful sight. His pairing with Edge was superb and added to the brilliance of the match.
