The black and gold brand put on quite a show at the Royal Rumble PPV. Six stars from NXT entered the Royal Rumble match, but only one made any sort of impression. Rhea Ripley made an incredible impact, scoring an insane seven eliminations. She even lasted all the way till the end, only to be eliminated by eventual winner Bianca Belair.

Shotzi Blackheart, however, had quite a forgettable night and was eliminated in a matter of seconds. The Number One Contender for the NXT Championship, Toni Storm, was suplexing people out of their boots but was tossed out by Rhea Ripley. New signing, Santana Garrett, made her main roster debut in a cameo appearance at the Rumble.

Dakota Kai and Ember Moon rounded off the NXT call ups in the Rumble match, but both did not make a significant impression. Kai’s elimination was brutal, as Rhea Ripley slammed her on the apron.

WWE legends kill it at the Rumble

Attitude Era icon and former WWE Women’s Champion, Victoria, made a huge return at the Royal Rumble. No one thought she’d be the one pointing at the WrestleMania sign, but she registered an excellent performance. She even hit an impressive Widow’s Peak on Peyton Royce.

Jillian Hall might not be a legend, but her return was hilarious. Teaming up with Billie Kay, Hall would remain in the Rumble longer than the likes of Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart. Teaming with Billie would come back to bite her, as the Aussie eliminated her from the match.
