Pro wrestling falls somewhere under sports entertainment and performing arts. Fans could agree that the superstars involved need to display phenomenal acting prowess to convince the audience of the story they tell inside the ring. Due to this, many WWE stars have made their way to Hollywood. WWE legends, such as Dwayne Johnson, Batista, and John Cena, have established themselves as a prominent name in Hollywood. But today we will be talking about the lesser-known female WWE superstars who have etched a mark in Hollywood.

Becky Lynch

The Irish pro wrestler, former WWE champion, and the wife of Seth Rollins have appeared in Hollywood projects in the past. However, her first television appearance is something that fans might have missed. She was a stunt double and performer in the seventh episode of the first season of the famous television series, Vikings. The RAW star featured in the series in 2013, a year before her NXT debut. However, that wasn’t the only time she featured in an action avatar.

After that, we saw the WWE star in a different role in Dwayne Johnson’s docuseries, Young Rock. She portrayed popular singer, songwriter, and activist Cyndi Lauper in an episode of the show.

Liv Morgan

While many WWE stars make their movie debut with movies produced by the WWE Studios, the same did not come true for Liv Morgan. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team champion made her Hollywood debut with the movie The Kill Room. Yale Productions & Idiot Savant Pictures produced the movie. Morgan starred along with some big names, such as Uma Thurman and Samuel Jackson. She played a character called Emma in the movie. In 2022, she guest starred as herself in the second season of the horror television series, Chucky. While there are no updates on any of her Hollywood projects, she has returned to WWE with the 2024 Royal Rumble.
