WWE Superstar suffers injury during the Day 1 PPV Kickoff show. The SmackDown Superstar got immediate medical assistance as he took off from the ring.

In the recent WWE Day 1 PPV, SmackDown Superstar Ridge Holland suffered a broken nose injury. On Day 1 PPV Kickoff, Ricochet and Cesaro went against Sheamus and Ridge Holland.

A few weeks back, Sheamus and Cesaro got into a heated battle where Ridge Holland included himself to assist Sheamus. This led to multiple battles between the three men. However, Ricochet involved himself in teaming up with Cesaro. On the Day 1 PPV, four men fight in a tag team match action.

During the match, Cesaro delivered a backbreaker to Holland, tagging Ricochet in. Later, Ricochet delivered a somersault slam, but it landed on Holland’s face. This resulted in a bleeding nose.

However, Ricochet assisted Holland to reach Sheamus’s corner and tag him. The match continued in a 2 on 1 situation. However, Sheamus kept his momentum in the match and destroyed both men. In the end, the Celtic Warrior picked the win, defeating Cesaro and Ricochet.

Drew McIntyre suffers injury on WWE Day 1 PPV

On Day 1 PPV, Drew McIntyre competed in a match against Madcap Moss. Both men fought hard, and Drew McIntyre ended the match with Claymore.

However, Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss weren’t happy with the defeat. Later, McIntyre was seen in a backstage interview. While McIntyre talked about his victory, Corbin and Moss attacked him. Both men assaulted him backstage with furious strikes.

Later, Corbin stroked McIntyre with multiple steel chair strikes and targeted McIntyre’s neck. Although McIntyre was victorious, Corbin and Moss didn’t want McIntyre in the spotlight.

Earlier, both men were having serious issues and were involved in many heated segments. Corbin also mocked McIntyre, stealing his sword ‘Angela’. After McIntyre returns, he will definitely go after the two men for revenge.

With McIntyre injured, Friday Night SmackDown’s Sheamus could have a good chance to challenge for the Universal Championship. This could be an excellent opportunity for Sheamus to grab the spotlight in the absence of Drew McIntyre.
