Tama Tonga’s debut in The Bloodline was a shocking moment for WWE fans. Not only because long-standing member Jimmy Uso was taken out of the equation but also because Solo Sikoa called the shots. Wrestling icon Thunder Rosa was the guest on the Busted Open podcast. Among the topics they discussed, Tama Tonga joining The Bloodline was the first. At the 9-minute mark, host Denise Salcedo asked her about her thoughts on the future of the group. After considering the recent developments, she said, “We really don’t care about Roman Reigns. It’s like The Rock has taken the highlight of everything.” She went on to explain one of the most popular fan theories regarding the big Rock vs Reigns showdown.

The fan theory speculated that Heel Rock was overshadowing Reigns from the start of the feud at the WrestleMania XL Kickoff show. While this was hinted at via the visible tension between the two men during promos, it was never fully explored. Rosa added, “It made me think that there was already fractures in The Bloodline, and The Rock was doing this just to do what he wanted to do.”

Various details in the promos made fans believe that The Rock was merely playing along with The Bloodline while hiding his true intention of seizing power from Reigns. This was fueled when The Rock wanted the pin on Cody Rhodes on Night #1 instead of letting Reigns get it. Rosa even explained how exactly the WWE could build towards this blockbuster matchup.

The AEW star continued, “And I think probably maybe the Final Boss is calling the shots in the back. But Roman Reigns doesn’t know this and he got stabbed in the back.” She explained how this could accelerate the winds of change for Reigns to turn face. The Rock has made it clear that he is the heel and fans would like to see the two face off.
