Sasha Banks has been in the headlines for a long time now. Despite being out of the ring for all these months, fans have been hooked on her wrestling return because of the suspense surrounding it. The speculations have built an unsure narrative that Banks could be returning to either WWE or moving past her ex-workplace and joining another promotion.

Sasha Banks teases her wrestling return

A recent interview with The Kick Rocks Wrestling Podcast has highlighted that Banks’ return is likely very close. There have many rumors suggesting that she would return to WWE. However, the podcast episode hints at the fact that she may not be willing to join the Stamford-based company again because she is proud of the decision that she left WWE in 2022.

Although it was one of the toughest decisions for Banks to make, she is happy she went through with it and now doesn’t hold a grudge against the management. “All I know is that I handled it like a CEO, like the boss that I am, with my head held up high & I can’t say nothing but amazing things to WWE, so thankful for the career they gave me, the fans they gave me, the life they gave me, the dreams they gave me,” said The Boss in the interview.

While talking to the host, Mercedes Mone also added, “I finally think I’ve found a home in a wrestling place.” This suggests that she is indeed ready for a comeback.

Although this quote doesn’t involve the name of the promotion she will be joining, we can expect her to debut in AEW next week at the Big Business PPV in Boston on March 13th. This is because Boston is Mone’s hometown and in a graphic posted by AEW, Boston is spelled ‘Bo$$ton’ a nod to her ‘Boss’ character in WWE.

Reports further suggesting Sasha Banks’ return in March

Apart from the ‘Bo$$ton’ hint, there were reports about the female superstar’s timeline of return. Since the PPV in Boston will take place next week on March 13th, it perfectly aligns with the reports that we received earlier last month.

These reports from an industry insider claimed that Banks is certainly not returning to WWE. Other than the leading wrestling promotion, AEW is one of the few companies that were rumored to have offered Banks a place on the active roster.
