As another episode of WWE SmackDown airs, another QR Code excites fans. Turning into a blink-and-you-‘ll-miss-it game, every RAW and SmackDown episode has some reference to the Wyatt family. With each code resulting in a cryptic message, fans have been piecing together what the mysterious character of Uncle Howdy wants to say. The latest message included a reference to a former Wyatt family member rumoured to return to the fold. Here is all you need to know.

Following the same pattern as before, this QR Code popped up, and upon scanning, it led to a cryptic message.

Eric Rowan was referenced in the new Wyatt family promo

Scanning the code resulted in the following video. The similar cryptic theme continued with single lines of sentences. However, one line gained attention, “We follow the prophecy. The words of the Red.” Eric Rowan was the man with the red beard during his time in the Wyatt family and was also called Erick Red Beard in AEW. Fans are aware he re-signed with the WWE recently. Could this mean Rowan is now the second in command? Rowan debuted alongside the Wyatt family with Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt. Since the tragic passing of Wyatt and Harper, Rown is the only member of the original Wyatt family left.

WWE recently announced that Rowan had re-signed with the company while the Uncle Howdy cryptic messages were ongoing. This led fans to believe the two may team up before delving into the Wyatt 6 speculations. Now, fans believe while Howdy will be front and centre in the leadership roles, Rowan might be the thread connecting the new family to the old one. He is also the only connection left between Wyatt and Braun Strowman, who also recently returned.

How the WWE could utilize the Wyatt family

The internet has been filled with speculations and theories on how the WWE could implement the new Wyatt 6 into the storyline. From rumours of Matt Hardy returning to his Broken Matt gimmick to lend a hand to him standing up against the Wyatt 6, everything is on the table. The WWE has been very quiet on the whole return, including when Bo Dallas could be seen as Uncle Howdy.

Apart from the cryptic messages and rumours, nothing else is known. Even the chance of Alexa Bliss returning to the WWE has been kept under wraps.
