Freddie Prinze Jr. has concerns about Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes
In the recent episode of Wrestling with Freddie, the former WWE writer shared that The Beast and The American Nightmare might have a short match. He recalled Lesnar’s match with Goldberg which might be a blueprint for their possible upcoming match at BackLash.
Prinze said, “Although the way things have been going, they’ll reverse squash it like when Goldberg beat Brock in nine seconds and then he will beat Cody and nine seconds and it’ll be over and I’ll be like, Yo.’”
Furthermore, the 47-year-old talked about how disappointed he was on Night 2 of WrestleMania 39. He recalled turning off the TV as soon as Rhodes lost, which he calls a “horrible finish”. Moreover, he shared disliking RAW after WrestleMania 39, which wasn’t his favorite one.
Nevertheless, Rhodes and Sami Zayn started the path to take down The Bloodline. While Zayn had Kevin Owens, the former TNT Champion was alone in this fight. While the former ‘Dashing Rhodes’ will take care of his Brock Lesnar problem, Zayn and Owens are the top guys in the tag team division.

The former WWE writer also had a view on how the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions’ future will be. He claimed they will eventually separate soon while Rhodes will chase Roman Reigns after Lesnar if there are similar plans.
He said, “And in the meantime, Sami and Kevin can tell their story until they eventually break up again, right? I can’t ever keep Sami and Kevin together for that long.”
Prinze added, “It’s just they’re both too good. To not go at each other. No matter how many times they fight, I’ll watch it. So hopefully that’s the plan.”
