WWE has had some great tag-teams to name over the years. Some failed to live up to the initial hype. The Ascension falls under that category. Now, one half of the team, Viktor has given an insight into how WWE works behind the scenes by sharing a story of Jon Moxley aka Dean Ambrose.

Both Viktor and Moxley are former WWE Superstars. Moxley  has since joined AEW, where he is the current AEW Champion. On the other hand, Viktor has mainly remained in the independent circuit.

Viktor speaks on Jon Moxley

Moxley quit WWE last year after what seemed like a dispute. The Superstar has mentioned on several occasions how he is upset with his former company.

Viktor, on the Lewis Nicholls show, revealed a story from the time they both worked for WWE.

“One of the best things I can ever actually remember from seeing somebody in a locker room was, it was supposed to be [Jon] Moxley and [Baron] Corbin at a PPV. And it was the last TV before it. Something happened to where their whole match got cut, and they only had so much time to do something.

“And I remember the writer coming into Mox and telling him this and Mox goes, ‘What the f**k!’ He’s about to say something like, ‘I can’t believe it,’ and I see him like, look around the locker room. And that was one of the locker rooms where it’s jam-packed with a bunch of 205 Live that aren’t doing anything at the time and a bunch of other guys who are struggling. And he just goes [sigh] ‘F**k it.’ Do you know what I mean? So it’s hard. Everybody there is fighting, and [it] just never stops. So it’s — yeah. It was like a hard thing to deal with.”, Viktor said.

It looks like Viktor is talking about Moxley’s feud with Corbin back in 2017. Moxley has said repeatedly that he was unhappy with WWE’s decisions and Viktor’s statement further highlights it.

WWE has a habit of changing things at the last minute and it has led to many upsets in the past.

Moxley felt he needed a change. His decision to leave benefited him as he has cemented his place in the rival promotion. He will be looking to build his career further as a part of AEW.
