This 39-year-old star’s promos and segments consisted of modern-day era jokes and references. Hence, he claims McMahon never liked his work in WWE.

Recently, Impact Wrestling wrestler Dirty Dango aka former WWE’s Fandango appeared on the Wrestling News Co podcast. He shared Vince McMahon never liked his and Tyler Breeze’s Fashion Files segments.

However, he doesn’t blame ‘Vinnie-Mac’ for the same. He understands due to his age, McMahon wasn’t able to understand a major chunk of their promos and segments.

Dango said, “From day one to the last day we did it, Vince did not laugh once and he did not understand any of the jokes. He didn’t get any of the pop culture, like any of the movies, he did not understand it. He didn’t like it, but he knew the fans liked it so he kept it on his show.”

Fandango recalled he and Breeze made Fashion Files when WWE wasn’t using them. Over the weeks, it went so over the fans that McMahon had to bring them on live TV. They formed the tag team Breezango and wrestled in the company for a brief period.

Nevertheless, despite of their success as Fashion Police and winning the NXT Tag Titles once, WWE released Fandango and Tyler Breeze in early 2021. Even though Fandango had his second memorable stint in WWE, the boss didn’t approve of it.

The Impact star said, “He didn’t understand any of it. There would be people in Gorilla watching the segment and everyone would pop while the segment was airing and Vince would just, I guess this is what they would tell us, Vince would just look around.”

Fandango added, “The dry sense of humor just wasn’t his thing, which if you’re a 70-something-year-old guy, you’re probably not getting Twin Peaks jokes. It’s understandable. It’s nothing against him, but he didn’t like it at all, but he knew that some people did.”
