WWE showcases sports entertainment at its finest. We’ve seen several superstars such as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Joh Cena, and The Miz venture into films and television. One Superstar who hopes to follow these footsteps following his WWE release is Braun Strowman!

WWE released the ‘Monster Among Men’ earlier this month. Since his release, Strowman is doing all the things he loves such as working on his car in the garage or even going out and playing with elephants!
Yesterday, Braun Strowman posted an image of himself cosplaying as the DC Villain Bane. He quoted Bane from The Dark Knight in his caption.
He further wrote he pulled off the look and clicked the picture simply because he was bored. However, he also seriously asked his fans if they’d like to see him play ‘Bane’ on-screen.

While Braun Strowman does look sick as Bane in the uploaded picture, he isn’t the first WWE Superstar or Hollywood star to demand to play the character. While Strowman tagged DC and Warner Bros to let them know his interest in playing Bane, former WWE Superstar Batista went the extra mile.
Instead of social media, Dave Batista directly caught up with the executives at DC. He straightaway demanded DC to cast him as Bane.
When the executives told Batista they weren’t casting for Bane, he persisted and told them whenever they do, he’s the only one who will play Bane.
Now, looking at Braun Strowman’s tweet, it seems like even he thinks the same. Let’s see which way DC goes as they do have some strong contenders vying for that role.
However, it’s interesting to note that both DC and Warner Bros have no plans to make a Bane movie or bring him back in a Batman movie for now.

Let’s see what happens in the future. It’s a no-brainer Batista will be a top choice if they ever want to cast Bane. However, given the look and size of Strowman, he wouldn’t look bad either.
Just the one thing that would keep Strowman from getting the role is his acting. If he gets better at that, who knows? We might see him on the big screen.
