Former WWE Intercontinental champion Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, accidentally knocked out his girlfriend Chelsea Green on this week’s edition of Impact Wrestling.

Matt Cardona and W. Morrisey, known as Bigg Cass in WWE, have been feuding for a while and they matched at the Hard To Kill show. However, after the show went off the air, the real chaos began for Cardona. Matt accidentally hit Chelsea Green, who absorbed an unprotected chair shot on her skull.

Matt Cardona accidentally hits former WWE superstar, Chelsea Green

After the contract signing segment, Moose put Cardona through the table, rendering him useless while Green stood and watched the carnage.

After putting Cardona through a table, he went to attack the former WWE superstar with a steel chair, but Chelsea Green tried to stop him. That resulted in Cardona attempting to hit Moose with a chair, but ended up accidentally hitting Green over the head.

Cardona then took to Twitter, where he warned Moose and claimed that he will have to pay the price for what he made him do to Green.

However, it seems like Chelsea Green is calmer about the situation and understands that whatever happened was just a mere accident and her boyfriend didn’t mean to do it.

“Moose messed with the wrong couple tonight,” she wrote.

Even though Cardona works as a heel across various promotions, the wrestling audience loves the charisma and heel tactics he brings to the table. After Matt got released from WWE after working there for 15 years, it looks like the former United States champion has tapped into his wrestling mindset in other promotions.
