Although the accusation may seem hurtful, the unfortunate event was a bit complicated. Sting, one of the most revered wrestlers of all time, had a match against The Architect. This match took place at the ‘Night of Champions’ in the year 2015. During the match, Rollins ended up giving a ‘buckle bomb’ to his opponent. This was the root cause of all the problems.
Former WWE star criticizes Seth Rollins
In a fairly recent podcast, Eugene, a former WWE star, recalled and criticized Rollins’ move. As much as The Architect loves wrestling alongside his wife, this 2015 match could have made him regret it all.

The former wrestler showed his disapproval of the buckle bomb that Sting had to face. According to him, the audience was there to witness the Hall of Famer’s signature move instead. “Why are you power bombing a 55-year-old man,” complained the former WWE star.
In the podcast, Eugene also said that such wrestlers should should proceed with such moves with a lot of caution when going up against a part time or elderly wrestler. Although the two didn’t have any tension between them, some people still dragged Rollins into the crossfire. However, the blame game was useless as Sting eventually made his big return to the world of wrestling.

However, the injury took a long time to heal and WWE didn’t want him to risk his health again forcing a premature retirement.
