Former WWE Head Writer Calls Out the Company for the Difference in Treatment of Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley Over Foul Play

Fans can’t help but cheer for the destruction Brock Lesnar brings to the ring. ‘The Beast Incarnate’ is not easy to stop once he gets going. Many WWE Superstars over the years have failed to contain the former universal WWE champion. At the recent Elimination Chamber event, he crossed a line despite being disqualified from the fight for a low blow. A furious Lesnar attacked referee Chad Patton and hit him with an F-5.

Former WWE head writer pointed out that Adam Pearce had a harsh punishment for Bobby Lashley when he did something similar whereas, The Conqueror faced no backlash or harsh consequences in this instance.

Does WWE favors Brock Lesnar over Bobby Lashley?

In a recent episode of the Wrestling with Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr addressed how fans and WWE are being too lenient with Lesnar, for his actions during the Elimination Chamber. He recalls a recent incident involving Bobby Lashley and Adam Pearce, which ultimately led to The Dominator being fired. The WWE enthusiast asked Pearce “By the way, storyline-wise, when Bobby Lashley put his hands on an official, he was fired. By you, Adam Pearce. Remember? on Monday night RAW?”

He continued “And it was like, ‘if you do it again man… Don’t make me do this, and then the next week he did it again and Pearce goes, ‘What are you doing Bobby! What are you doing? Bobby’s like ‘What?’ and he goes ‘You’re fired!’ and Bobby got fired. So what’s up? Why isn’t Brock fired? Why isn’t Brock getting fired” He demanded why Lesnar isn’t facing a similar punishment, for knocking out an official.

The Conqueror couldn’t escape the hurt lock and went berserk

The match between ‘Brock Solid’ and ‘The Real Deal’ is still fresh in everyone’s memory and for the wrong reasons. It had some hard-hitting action. But in the final moments,  when The Dominator held Lesnar in a tight hurt lock, he couldn’t escape despite his best efforts. Lesnar went berserk and struck Lashley with a low blow to cause disqualification, instead of tapping out.

The Beast Incarnate knocked the match official out and continued his carnage. However, fans were less than impressed with the outcome of this match in this manner, Even though he almost broke every single rule in the book Lesnar has seemingly escaped without punishment.
