WWE arguably was known as the biggest land of opportunity for a long time. However, the perception has completely changed with the rise of competitors such as AEW. Moreover, companies joining hands to come up with bigger shows have given fans a fresh flavor to witness a product never seen before.

That is something along the lines of a plan that some former WWE superstars have in mind. They even know the people who could be the ideal partners to join hands for this initiative.

Many independent shows produced by companies like NJPW, IMPACT, AEW, and other promotions have emerged to do big numbers. Furthermore, AEW and NJPW came up with a new event concept called “The Forbidden Door.” It saw talents from both promotions competing on one show. This paved the way for something new for the fans to witness and perhaps set the stage for various dream encounters.

An influx of new opportunities prompted former WWE superstar Alicia Fox to come up with a game plan of their own with fellow legend Melina. During a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Fox revealed her blueprint in regard to the Forbidden Door concept, claiming to have some “unfinished business.”

Fox said, “Where should we go do this forbidden door stuff? We have some stuff we haven’t finished.”

She began, starting with going to WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Sharmell. Furthermore, they plan to approach Mercedes Mone’ and Trinity Fatu, fka Sasha Banks, and Naomi respectively.

Fox continued, “So this is what I’m thinking, so I’m talking to Booker and Sharmell, and then I’ll go do that. Then, we’ll go knock on Trin’s [Trinity] house and then Sasha’s [Mercedes Mone] house.”

Melina sounded excited and replied, “If this is the plan, I am 100% for that, and then I’ll end my career on that.”

Melina seemed to be thrilled about Foxy’s plans and was 100% on board with her approach.

Where are Sasha Banks and Naomi these days?

Sasha Banks and Naomi were emerging to become a promising tag team, back in 2022. However, the duo infamously walked out of Monday Night RAW in May. The walkout was reportedly due to frustrations with their position and creative differences. They stayed away from the wrestling world for months, pursuing various other ventures during that time.

Banks made her debut at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom event in January 2023 under her new ring name, Mercedes Mone’. She then went on to defeat KAIRI to win the IWGP Women’s title at next month’s Battle in the Valley event. However, she would go on to lose the championship to Mayu Iwatani at the Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom event in April. She is currently dealing with an ankle injury.

Naomi, on the other hand, took more time than Banks to get back inside the squared circle. The wait finally ended as she made her debut in IMPACT Wrestling under her real name Trinity in April 2023.
