‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar is the toughest WWE superstar the world of pro-wrestling has ever seen. Lesnar started his career in WWE after a successful NCAA amateur wrestling run and then went to UFC for several years.

Since his return to WWE in 2012, he has become the biggest highlight of the company. He has made several billions of dollars for the company. Also, he has had some of the best and most memorable feuds and matches in the last 10 years.

Sometime back, WWE Superstar, The Miz, commented on not wanting to face Brock Lesnar in the ring. He claimed to stay away from the ring if anybody is scheduled for a match against Lesnar.

A few years back, in a QnA session with UPROXX Studios, The Miz answered Bill Hanstock, why he hates facing Brock Lesnar.

Miz said, “I fight some of the toughest people I’ve ever met in my entire life. Brock Lesnar’s always one of those guys you never want to step in the ring with. When you hear your name rattled off as one of the people who have to fight Brock Lesnar, you’re like, ‘Ugh Ugh’. He’s tough.”

The ‘A-Lister’ is indeed true and many WWE superstars have called Brock Lesnar the toughest opponent they have ever faced in the ring. In a fan meet, once John Cena said, he used to get nervous while facing The Beast in WWE.

Former, two-time Divas Champion Maryse was also present with her husband during the QnA session. She picked Ronda Rousey, who she never wants to face in the ring, ever. It seems the ‘IT Couple’ doesn’t want to come under the radar of the two former UFC World Champions. 

Secret retirement of Brock Lesnar

Prior to WrestleMania 38, Brock Lesnar appeared on The Michael Kay Show. The appearance was ahead of the WWE Live event at Madison Square Garden where he discussed his WrestleMania 38 match against Roman Reigns and other things. Lesnar also told them about his plans to retire in 2020. 

Brock Lesnar wanted to retire after WrestleMania 36 after his contract was over. Lesar said, “When I was younger I thought I wanna retire when I’m 40. I actually retired when COVID hit and my contract was up in 2020.”

The reason he gave was, “So full circle Brock Lesnar story started (when) I had my first wrestling match in Hamel, Minnesota in a garage with no people. 20 years later, and the WWE world heavyweight champion, had a wrestling match at a warehouse in front of no people. 20 years, full circle, full revolution. I was like cool, ‘I’m out.”

He stayed retired for a year but returned to SummerSlam in 2021. Surprisingly, this return of his as Cowboy Brock became some of the best work of his entire WWE career.
