The Miz is one of the few WWE Superstars that has been a mainstay of WWE programming consistently. He has tasted success in Hollywood. Of course, not the way his former rivals Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena have.
The man hosts Cannonball, has his own Television show – Miz & Mrs. on the USA Network, and is now the current Money In The Bank contract holder.
With all the successful endeavors outside of wrestling, the thought of retirement might always take rounds. Especially, after wrestling with no injury for 15 years straight.

When does The Miz plan to hang his boots?
The former WWE Champion was on NotSam Wrestling with his wife, Maryse. When Sam asked him about his plans for retirement. The Miz said,
“You want to retire right at your popularity. Right when your popularity hits max and that’s when people miss you the most. People will start chanting your name and be like, ‘Yeah! We want him back!’ If you just leave randomly when you’re in the middle of stuff, people are like, ‘Oh, that’s okay, that’s alright!’ You always want to leave on a high.”
He continued, “Me, I will whenever… I don’t look at time. I just look at whenever it stops being fun. Honestly, I’m having the most fun I’ve ever had. I get to be with John Morrison. I come home to my wife. I get to film Miz & Mrs., I did Cannonball, we have a new production company MadRoe Productions.
“We’re working on new shows, selling them right now, and everything is looking really in a positive direction. We have a couple of pitches about a game show that Maryse and I have that people are really excited about.” H/t WrestlingInc.com

The Miz is definitely having a wonderful time in his professional life. Just like he said, retirement should be at the peak of one’s popularity.
For example: Stone Cold Steve Austin retiring, Brock Lesnar leaving WWE in 2004, and The Rock transitioning to Hollywood full-time. We definitely don’t want to see him hang his boots without winning a couple another World Titles. Plus, we wouldn’t mind him breaking Chris Jericho’s record for the most reigns as Intercontinental Champion either.
