There are times when Brock Lesnar made history in WWE. Breaking The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania is the greatest one of them all. But it doesn’t mean that the others don’t stack up on each other to make it that much better. Even breaking the ring for the first time when he suplexed Big Show from the top rope sent shivers down the spine of many in the audience.

But there are also times when Lesnar is the biggest heel under the sky. Beating John Cena, and Randy Orton, to a bloody pulp was too difficult for everyone to watch, even the people seeing it through their TVs. But there was one time when he beat the former WWE Champion in under 10 seconds, and he broke the hearts of many fans watching it.

While talking to NBC’s Ten Count, Kofi Kingston talked about being dethroned by Brock Lesnar in under a few seconds. He said, “There are a lot of things in the industry that you look at sometimes and go Woah, ‘why did that happen?’ You just move on, and the wheel keeps on turning. For me to dwell on what happened in that match with Brock Lesnar doesn’t serve me any purpose.” He also added that dwelling in the past is only going to harm his future and it’s not something the New Day member will do.

I have a lot more career left to handle. I think it’s a scenario where it’s a rare opportunity to be on this roster. As far as my run, being WWE Champion, I got to go six months almost to the day, so that is a very long reign. I enjoyed my title run. I enjoyed every single moment of it because I know how rare it is to be in that championship role. You embrace it.”

Kofi Kingston was the hero that WWE needed that night. He won the championship at WrestleMania 35, by beating Daniel Bryan, and he wore it with honor. His feuds with Jinder Mahal and Randy Orton were also top-tier, but it all ended when Lesnar made his return. He beat Kingston in under 10 minutes on the premiere episode of SmackDown.
