Former WWE Champion Believes Defeating Roman Reigns Would Define His Career

‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns has been the WWE Universal Champion for well over a year. Roman Reigns has been so dominant for the past year that whichever wrestler defeats him could achieve massive success. Over the past year, various wrestlers have fought Reigns, and some even came close to beating ‘The Trible Chief’.

The same happened with the former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre. McIntyre got really close to beating Reigns when the two heavyweights faced each other at the Survivor Series PPV.

Now that the ‘Scottish Warrior’ is on the blue brand, McIntyre wasted no time in letting the WWE Universe know that he wants his shot at ‘The Trible Chief’ and his title.

Drew McIntyre defines how can Roman Reigns elevate his career

Speaking with WWE broadcaster Kayla Braxton on Talking Smack, McIntyre revealed that if he beats Roman Reigns in a WWE ring, it would definitely redefine his career.

He confessed that ever since he came back to WWE, things have really changed.

“It would mean a lot to me. You know it’s interesting. Roman and I have quite the history since I’ve returned to WWE and perhaps the roles are a little bit reversed.”

“I’ve been watching what Roman’s been doing over this past year and I might not like how he does things a lot of the time, but he is operating at a different level. He always talks about these levels, and right now he is at the absolute top.”

Last year at Survivor Series, McIntyre gave a hard time to Roman and ‘The Tribal Chief’ really had to fight really hard to gain the upper hand. Therefore, now with McIntyre on SmackDown, the WWE Universe might definitely see a match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.
