If there are two companies which have a strong hold of the wrestling industry, it’s WWE and AEW. But, what if another promotion made its way to the industry and actually managed to compete with the others? Maybe, Shane McMahon could make that happen.

Now, this isn’t something that Shane McMahon came up with or an idea that he’s spoken about in an interview. The idea comes from former WWE writer, Vince Russo.

He took to social media to take a shot at Vince McMahon and Tony khan and show his support for Shane. Recently, Shane and Vince have come under the spotlight after The Big Man reportedly removed his son from all creative discussions, banning his participation on future WWE PPVs, and terminating his contract as a WWE Superstar.

If Shane takes Russo’s advice and starts his own company, it would actually make a former infamous storyline come true. Back in the day when WWE acquired ECW, The Invasion storyline had taken form.

In this Shane led ECW (where he purchased ECW from under Vince McMahon’s nose) and Vince was trying to get it back from him. Essentially, Shane McMahon went up against Vince McMahon, but this was a storyline.

Hence, if Shane starts his own company, it could become quite the battle in the pro-wrestling industry.

Shane McMahon clashed with top names at Royal Rumble 2022

Initial reports claimed that Shane messed with Bad Bunny’s entrance number and openly buried producer Jamie Noble.

However, this wasn’t all. He clashed with other top names such as Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton as well.

He constantly pitched ideas to Vince McMahon but Lesnar had his own ideas as well. Unfortunately, Shane did not receive his father’s approval which Lesnar did.

On the other hand, Orton was actually supposed to come out as the number 28th entrant. But, due to a mix-up, Shane’s theme song started playing and he had to come out since ‘The Viper’ refused to come out to that song.

After all the mix-ups, chaos, and issues caused, Shane McMahon left WWE after being banned from matches.
