For many reasons, The Undertaker is hailed as one of the greatest performers of all time. Not only WWE fans but several pro wrestlers, respect and admire Taker. His WrestleMania record alone stands among the greatest in the company’s history. And it is undoubtedly a great honor to share a WrestleMania platform with the legend.

On the Busted Open Podcast, WWE legend Mark Henry shared his thoughts about what it’s like sharing a WrestleMania stage with The Phenom.

During a chat, ‘World’s Strongest Man’ brought up Taker’s illustrious record of victories at WrestleMania. Henry, who faced The Deadman at WrestleMania 22, is notable for being a part of the streak.

On the podcast, Henry mentioned he considered himself extremely fortunate to have shared a stage with Taker. When discussing that, he stated, “It made so much for my career because I was able to be able to stand across from arguably the greatest wrestlers of all time (The Undertaker).”

Taker’s enormous physique and 6’11” height are well famous, making him intimidating to everyone. This basically confirms that ever since Henry encountered Taker, every fight he has been involved in has been incredibly simple for him.

Moreover, he added, “And the things I learned it just made me so much better when I got in the ring with anybody else. I feel like it was a cakewalk. You know so, just having the Undertaker as somebody like the whole learning psychology. You know you take it to the doctorate level.”

It’s not just any match when The Undertaker and Mark Henry squared off at WrestleMania 22. This was a match between two enormous and talented wrestlers. Obviously, The Undertaker prevailed and maintained his WrestleMania winning streak, but the match was still interesting to watch.

Given that Henry performed at WrestleMania 14 before his match with Taker. Henry was questioned about if he had had any different emotions in the days leading up to the Taker’s battle.

He stated, When we main eventer at Pay Per View. Seven months before that Vengeance in Memphis, Tennessee, and that was the first time that I ever took a tombstone which was big for me.’’

He added, “And I also took the Last Ride in the match. If you just beat, then the crowd is not gonna be into it. I’m the only person that was able to kick out of the Tombstone. I mean I’d kick out of the last ride so I felt honor.’’

Moreover, Henry explained the fact that Big Show, who had a similar enormous physique as of Henry, The Undertaker, didn’t deliver tombstones to him. Consequently, this increased his drive to compete, since he was up against the G.O.A.T.
