In the past two years, Vince McMahon has let go or released a major part of his roster. They released some superstars as part of budget cuts and some left because of WWE not coming on the same page while settling a contract.
Cesaro is one superstar who left the company because of a contract dispute. However, superstars like AJ Styles and former Universal Champion Kevin Owens signed back with the company.
WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg also didn’t sign a new contract after he wrestled his last match with WWE at Elimination Chamber. Very few superstars have directly gone to Vince McMahon and settled their new contract.
