Why would Pat McAfee mention he would die young?

We are just two days away from The Most Stupendous WrestleMania. But, before his battle against the 24-year-old Theory, McAfee made a shocking statement. During the latest episode of Busted Open, McAfee was asked if he would have his WrestleMania moment.

“Yes! I’m going to take in the moment. And I’m 34-years-old, and although I don’t know how people feel about aging. What do they think about it? For me, I’m in a very comfortable place in my place right now. I get to do so many awesome things, whether it’s college game day or calling games and the fact that I’m a part of the WWE weekly,” Pat mentioned.

The SmackDown commentator will have the biggest match of his career at the Showcase of the Immortals. During the interview, McAfee also stated that he will enjoy his time at Mania, just like he always does.

McAfee added, “Just like every show I do, every appearance I make, every time I speak, I’m trying to enjoy everything. Because I assume I’m going to die young, and I’m going to try to enjoy it all. But I think that’s a big part of my entire thing. I’m having a good time, and once I stop doing that, it’s probably time for me to move on.”
