Former 3X Women’s Champion Wants to Have a Match Against a 47-Year-Old WWE Hall of Famer for Her “Perfect Scenario” at WrestleMania

WrestleMania is not just a wrestling event, it is a carnival for this business. Several legends return to enlighten the grandest show and sometimes even have matches. Similarly, a WWE superstar recently expressed her “perfect scenario” of WrestleMania she could ever have. She shared her wish to face a 47-year-old WWE Hall of Famer at WrestleMania at some point.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, Bayley talked about her fantasy WrestleMania matches. The first name she came up with was that of the iconic women’s star Lita.

The 33-year-old said, “My perfect scenario in all of WWE WrestleMania is like me vs Lita or me vs Sasha or right now if I pick someone, pick something it’s Damage Control in a big match. I think that would be very special too.”

The former NXT Women’s Champion added, “Because I’ll get to share the ring with them at WrestleMania. Even though that would be the end of it or if that would be our last match together, that would make me so proud and so happy.”

There is no news about potential singles match with Lita, but Bayley is in for a feud with her. Damage CTRL members Dakota Kai and Io Sky will face Lita and Becky Lynch for the Women’s Tag Team Championship this week on RAW.

WWE can come up with some spot in their championship match to set a match between Bayley and Lita. The WWE Hall of Famer last wrestled last year against Becky Lynch at the Elimination Chamber. 

Bayley pens an emotional message for Damage CTRL for a WWE milestone

Damage CTRL is a faction close to Bayley not only in the ring but outside it as well. During the interview, The Role Model recalled chasing Triple H for nearly two years to pitch an idea for her own faction in WWE.

Finally, last year at SummerSlam Bayley got what she wanted. In her recent Instagram post, she expressed being “so damn proud of Damage Control”. She recalled debuting the faction seven months ago and they are one of the regular faces on WWE TV. 

Furthermore, she wrote how Io Sky was on NXT waiting for her opportunity and Dakota Kai returned to WWE after leaving the company.  She added, “I know that these tag titles mean as much to them as they do to me. I know that it’s more than just a championship for them, it’s a second chance at a dream.”
