Lacey Evans courted controversy after sharing the video of Joel D. Wallach discussing conspiracy theories around autism and ADHD. In the video, Wallach and another individual claim that these conditions didn’t exist some time ago and blamed processed foods as a cause for the rise in these cases. This is irresponsible and a flippant remark from someone who clearly hasn't had their life touched by ADD or Autism. She certainly needs a privilege check and some support from the media team at @wwe if she's going to be given more TV time going forward.

Many fans who even suffered from ADHD and autism also had their say.
As a young man with autism. Kindly fuck off forever @LaceyEvansWWE 😁 https://t.co/KxL7Qas067

Moreover, the ‘Southern Belle’ took to Twitter to defend her actions but later ended up deleting the tweets. Interestingly, nearly a couple of weeks ago, Evans called out fans for their “sick” behavior after she made a Twitter post talking about mental health awareness.
WWE is repackaging Lacey Evans
Lacey Evans returned to WWE earlier this year after a hiatus. After hyping her return on SmackDown, she was moved to the RAW brand. Despite WWE pushing her background as a Marine, she remained a heel. WWE then drafted her again to the blue brand where she hasn’t done much yet. But now the company is looking to repackage her yet again.

This time it seems WWE is diving deep into her United States Marine Corps history and using that to sell the new gimmick. In a vignette of Evans, she is seen doing drills and “going back to basics” of her training. It is clear that WWE has concrete plans for Lacey Evans going forward. But now with this latest controversy, whether the company will go ahead with its push for Evans or demote her remains to be seen.
