WWE has always been a source of fan entertainment thanks to its bouts, captivating plotlines, and a variety of other activities. However, there are many things that we, as fans, are unable to see that are occasionally funnier than what is happening on stage. Given that they aren’t required to perform in a specific manner backstage, wrestlers can be who they really are there. Likewise, a former WWE star recalled an incident when a 5’6 WWE legend mocked The Undertaker and impersonated a 6’10 monster backstage.

In a recent video former WWE star, Rene Dupree was asked about the not so known Rey Mysterio story. In response, he remembered how The Biggest Little Man impersonated The Deadman while wearing his attire backstage. And remarked that given the huge size disparity between the two legends, it was really hilarious.

When asked about the story, he recalled, “He’s the best. One time, we were backstage just f**ing around and he put on Undertaker’s hat and leather jacket and it was f**ing hilarious. Because, you know, Rey is only about 5-foot-1, and Taker is like 7-foot tall. So, you know, he’s got a smaller head, and Taker got a big head so it was just hilarious.”

Mysterio is just as special as Andre the Giant, with his abilities. But it’s unthinkable to imagine him mocking Taker while wearing Taker’s attire, and nobody would do that considering The Deadman led the locker room and was well-respected there. But The Super Duper Kid accomplished in doing it, and he succeeded so effectively that Dupree still remembers it well.

The Undertaker once revealed Rey Mysterio broke his orbital bone

WWE fans enjoyed several of the matches between Taker and Mysterio. It was also entertaining to watch the contest as both competitors, despite their different sizes, put on great fights. Notably, Mysterio once shattered Taker’s bone during one particular fight. In an appearance on ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’, the WWE Hall of Fame himself detailed what exactly happened that evening.

Undertaker stated, “I had a blowout fracture. And funnily enough, it was just a freak thing that happened- the smallest guy in the company, little Rey Mysterio. He’s tiny, but he jumped off the top rope and I should know what the move is but I don’t.”
