Deonna Purrazzo has been a dominant female superstar ever since she got fired by WWE. Purrazzo is the reigning IMPACT Knockouts Champion, and a dominant AAA superstar.
However, it was not always easy for the Knockouts Champion. After WWE fired Purrazzo, there was a time when she decided to quit wrestling and get back to school to become a history teacher.

Speaking to Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, the Knockouts Champion was asked whether she would ever consider going back to WWE, a place where she never thrived or was heard.
Deonna Purrazzo still has some bad blood with WWE
Speaking with to, Purrazzo candidly spoke about how poorly she was treated during her time in Vince McMahon’s company and was often turned down.
However, when Renee asked if she would ever consider moving back to WWE, Purrazzo surprisingly said “never say never”.
She said, “I think that was always my goal as a kid. I didn’t know all these other promotions existed. I was a WWE fan. For me, the goal was to always be on WrestleMania and be the women’s champion. There will always be a part of me that’s like, ‘I wish it turned out differently.’ Never say never and if there’s an opportunity, maybe I would go.”

“It drives me every day to work hard to get that phone call and then be like, ‘Oh, me? The difficult one? I don’t know, I’m going to have to think about that.’ It’s a driving force for them to want me back, definitely. I won’t say no, because never say never, but sometimes I feel like, no, fu*k you guys. You had me for so many years, even before I was signed. For so many years, they could have done something, and I was always put on the back burner. Now, I’m thriving,” Deonna concluded.
Deonna Purrazzo was with WWE since 2014 before she got released in 2020. Purrazzo started working as extra talent for WWE, appearing in several skits with Adam Rose as a “Rosebud”.

During her time in WWE, she had only 16 television matches. Now, she is the current Impact Knockouts Champion in her second reign and is the current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion in her first reign.
