Dwayne Johnson puts his name in contention for playing this iconic movie role

While talking to Metro magazine about one of the greatest acting roles that is left empty right now, James Bond. He immediately told the magazine no for playing the villain, by saying, “He (Peter Maivia) had this amazing fight scene with Sean Connery.” Though he also said, “I see myself as James Bond. F*ck the villain! An American Bond? It can happen, right? It’s like Henry Cavill playing Superman.”

Henry Cavill, thanks to Dwayne Johnson, returned to the role of the American hero Superman. But as we all know, he is British and has a pure British accent. It’s just another magic trick from the actor’s playbook that Cavill can pull off an excellent American accent. The same is the case for New York’s very own Peter Parker, who is played by another British actor, Tom Holland. Just like that, there are many more heroes who are from America in the comics but are played by Britishers.

We are sure that Johnson didn’t forget to learn some James Bond moves on the set of Black Adam already as a former Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan played Doctor Fate in Johnson’s first outing as a superhero. With training from him and his reputation from the movies, Johnson would be a slam dunk for the next bond. But it all depends on the people behind the screen.
