“F**k Off Mom”- Narcissist AEW Star Gets Reason to Keep Character Intact Even in Front of His Family

The reigning AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman, has an interesting relationship with his parents. Fans are no strangers to how brash and arrogant MJF is. Even after becoming the World Champion, MJF continues to embody his skeptical and cynical persona, even behind the scenes. Recently, the wrestler took a harsh dig at his mother on social media.

With AEW’s upcoming PPV, All In, less than a week away, MJF is set to defend his World Championship against Adam Cole. Given MJF’s strong sense of self-importance, he is strongly averse to sharing the spotlight with others. And so, he took measures to ensure that his mother was fully aware of this stance. 

MJF berates his mother on social media

Experiencing embarrassment when mothers display affection is a natural reaction for certain individuals, especially when you’re someone like MJF. Recently on Twitter, MJF shared a heartfelt email he received from a fan. The fan thanks MJF for making his young son happy. 

The AEW World Champion shared the email on Twitter and added a note addressing the fan while also staying in character. MJF stated that he aims to indoctrinate the younger generation to believe in and work to achieve their dreams. The Twitter post also had a picture of MJF standing beside the young fan. 

Reacting to the tweet, MJF’s mom, Nina Friedman, tweeted, “MY SWEET LITTLE BOY IS BACK!!!,” with the angel emojis. In typical villainous fashion, MJF responded to his mother’s tweet, stating, “F**k off mom, This week is about me. Go away.”

The 27-year-old star is currently ruling the roost in AEW, as he is proving to be tenacious with his World Championship reign. As mentioned, Friedman is all set to defend his AEW World Title against Adam Cole. Despite being at odds for months, MJF and Adam Cole have gotten pretty close over the last couple of months.

We will have to wait and see who emerges victorious at Wembley Stadium when the two friends collide. Anyway, regarding MJF’s mother, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the first instance where she has been chastised by her son. In fact, her actions at AEW Dynamite in 2021 first sparked a reaction from the Champion. 

MJF’s parents once brought an anti-MJF placard to AEW Dynamite

In 2021, MJF’s mom and dad attended the Grand Slam edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT. Interestingly, his mom was holding an anti-MJF placard, while his dad was wearing an “I HATE MJF” t-shirt. The placard read, “We’re MJF’s parents and we think he SUCKS too!”

Taking umbrage at his mother’s Twitter post, MJF hilariously reacted, stating, “F**k off mom”. Jokes apart, MJF shares a wholesome relationship with his parents. It is always interesting to see his mother’s reactions to her son’s social media posts.
