Injuries are a part of every sport, and WWE is no less. Professional wrestling has always been one of the most dangerous and injury-prone sports to have ever existed. Although WWE is conducted in an extremely safe manner with proper precautions, injuries can always take place.
Recently, in the last few months, several WWE Superstars went out because of injury. While, the list already had the likes of Big E, Tomasso Ciampa, and Cody Rhodes, it now also consists of former WWE Champion, AJ Styles.

Recently, AJ Styles was working with the WWE Holiday Tour, and performing at Live house shows, when the unfortunate incident occurred. Styles and The O.C were going off against the likes of The Judgement Day, consisting of Finn Balor, Damien Priest and Dominik Mysterio.
During the match, fans saw Styles dive outside the ring from the top rope. However, it did not end in a good way, and Styles had a rough landing on his ankle. The match soon ended in an abrupt manner, and Styles had to be treated.
The moment ‘The Phenomenal One’ fell, he clutched his ankle and sat down. Soon, the referee threw up the ‘X’ sign, signalling a real-life injury. He was then taken backstage. Styles had also previously stated how he would retire after his current contract with WWE ran out. And as per reports, it will run out in 2024. With Styles currently out with an injury, hopeful fans expect to watch him at WrestleMania.
WWE Fans hope to see AJ Styles wrestle at WrestleMania 39
The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles is one of the most successful and widely known wrestlers. Styles has nearly wrestled all over the globe and is an international star. His recent injury caused concern among his fans and raised worries about him wrestling at his probably last WrestleMania.

Styles is one of the most accomplished wrestlers today, and fans want a memorable WrestleMania moment in a possible title match for Styles, to send him away to retirement. However, with a broken ankle, it is highly unlikely that WWE would be providing him with such opportunities.
AJ Styles has confirmed that he has suffered a broken ankle, thankfully no surgery is required.

🙏 for a speedy recovery. Him and the OC were starting to take off too. Interested to see how the group will be featured while he's recovering.

Fans also wondered if he could heal and return at the Rumble.
He will be back by Royal Rumble, a break is better than a sprain normally

I'm concerned about AJ's direction for @WrestleMania. I don't see it and he's one of those talents that should always be on 'Mania. This injury concerns me even more.

Never is easy with hearing any wrestler going down to an injury much less around the holiday period #wrestling
