Whatever the biggest star on the planet, Dwayne Johnson, does, makes headlines. Whether it be a new movie or crashing and burning after his expected loss from XFL; The Rock is a constant on the tabloids because everything he does has an impact on him and the surrounding industry. While XFL might be a new step in the right direction, it didn’t make any profit.

Unlike the XFL’s enormous loss, his action movies have made a big profit that even propelled him to become the top-paid actor in the world. But this title didn’t come to him without showing his charisma and heroism in movies, heroism that also saw surplus amounts of damage in these movies’ fictional worlds.

We discovered an interesting article from Rotten Tomatoes about The Rock’s destruction over the years. They calculated money amounting to all the fictional destruction in his movies, from every building to city-wide explosions. From The Scorpion King in 2002 to 2018’s Rampage, the characters caused damage amounting to a whopping $12 trillion.

Featuring mainly in action movies, The Rock has comfortably placed himself in the discussion of the greatest action stars in Hollywood. But this also means that movies like Red Notice, Jumanji 2, Jungle Cruise, and Black Adam only increased this total of $12 trillion to another height.

How much damage did each of his well-known characters cause?

The most damage caused in a Johnson movie, by far, is San Andreas. The Rock’s character, Raymond Gaines, suffers through not one, not two, but three catastrophic earthquakes, seeing Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Japan. In addition to that, a Tsunami also swept away anything that San Francisco had left to salvage. With San Andreas 2 coming in the future, we can expect more disasters to follow.

But still, there is a movie that triumphs over all of this damage. In G.I. Joe Retaliation, Johnson’s character sees the destruction of the entire city of London. The capital of England amassed $2 trillion in damages, and on top of that, there was nothing left to salvage from it as well.
