Five Years After Emily Blunt Ghosted Him, Dwayne Johnson Broke Her Heart With His Secret Actions in an Unearthed Footage

Since transitioning fully into Hollywood, Dwayne Johnson has not only made a name as an actor, but also a best co-star. Many Hollywood stars have shared their happiness about filming being fun when The Rock is their co-star. But sometimes his actions might make someone shocked and it did the same to Emily Blunt, who ghosted him five years ago.

This incident possibly around in 2021 when they were promoting The Jungle Cruise. The Brahma Bull often has funny moments with Kevin Hart and they laugh aloud about it, doing a similar thing with Emily Blunt wasn’t the same.

The Rock and Emily Blunt promoted their only movie together until now, The Jungle Cruise in 2021. It is safe to say they had tremendous fun during the promotion of the Disney film. But before coming together to work, the British actress ignored DJ’s video message initially in 2017 a year before the filming of Jungle Cruise, which started in 2018 in Hawaii.

In a resurfaced clip on Twitter, we can see The Great One disappointing Blunt with his playful actions. He didn’t say much, but his actions were enough.

DJ was teaching Blunt a handshake which they wanted to make their secret handshake. They shook their hands and imitated birds flapping before Johnson pretended to shoot the bird.

The Oppenheimer movie star’s reactions said all how much she was shocked by this action of The Rock. 

The fan who shared the tweet also wrote the reason why Johnson and Blunt should be in a movie together. The tweet said, “I need Jungle Cruise 2 so bad. I need Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt to work together again. Honestly they should be in every movie from now on together. 😫:

Even the Jumanji Actor during the promotion of Black Adam said he prefers Emily Blunt over Kevin Hart during a promotional event. The Rock’s friendship with Blunt mirrors his bond with Kevin Hart and the WWE star even roasted Blunt once to further show their deep bond.

DJ and Blunt appeared on WIRED’s Web’s Most Searched Questions. One of the questions asked was who would survive “a real-life jungle cruise adventure”.

The Rock quickly said he would. The British actress also agreed to the same saying, “You have more fat on you, so you’d last longer.” However, Johnson’s reply was, “And you have herpes. Look at everybody’s head pop up.”

Both the stars started laughing at The Rock’s quick wit. They’ve become one of the most favorite duos in Hollywood. We got to see them together at the Oscars too, but fans are hoping for them to once again work in a movie together.
