With 2020 almost in the rear-view mirror, it is safe to say it has not been the best year for professional wrestling. Despite the circumstances, certain Superstars won over the fans and held their own amidst the odd situation. The year 2021 does not look like it’s going to be any different from 2020. With that being said, here are some WWE Superstars to watch out for in 2021.

Bianca Belair has been on the main roster for some time now. It is absolutely shocking to imagine that she has not won a title yet. After treading water on Raw, Belair was drafted to the ‘land of opportunity.’ On SmackDown, the avenues for her success multiplied tenfold.
Belair represented SmackDown at Survivor Series and registered a star-making performance that warranted a title shot. However, Bianca received a pretty decent consolation prize.
A rivalry with Bayley will only help Bianca grow into a babyface role. She will have a huge role to play in 2021, and it won’t be too far-fetched to envision her as the Women’s Champion by SummerSlam.
Dominik Mysterio breaks out from his father’s shadow
Say what you want about the Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio rivalry, but it gave us the gift of Dominik Mysterio. He delivered a brilliant babyface performance at SummerSlam 2020 against Seth Rollins. However, it won’t be the good side of Dominik that will make him one to watch out for in 2021.
Rey’s son has an untapped heel potential. This potential is far more influential than Rey’s babyface virtues. He can be the top heel on either brand and pairing him with someone like Paul Heyman could do wonders for Dominik’s future. Had WWE not released Zelina Vega, she would’ve made the perfect manager for Dominik Mysterio in 2021.
Putting the Hurt in the Hurt Business
No faction looks stronger than the Hurt Business. They even resemble the great NJPW stables. One man made all the difference to the group, and that man is Cedric Alexander.
Prior to Alexander aligning with the Hurt Business, the group was just a bunch of babyface rejects. Now, they look like the coolest thing in wrestling.
If Alexander’s recent heel run has taught us anything, it is that he should be the face of WWE. Call it far-fetched, but Cedric is ridiculously talented. His character work has improved incredibly, he is too good in the ring, and has MVP as his manager. Never mind face of the faction; in 2021, Cedric Alexander will stake claim to being the face of the entire roster.
The American Dragon soars again in WWE
.@WWEDanielBryan has declared himself the FIRST entrant in the 2021 #RoyalRumble Match! But will @SamiZayn, sorry, karma get to him first? 🤔 #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/B4DsylnbFD

On WWE SmackDown, Daniel Bryan announced his entry into the 2021 Royal Rumble match. This instantaneously makes him a favourite to win the match.
Bryan has also expressed that this might be his last run as a professional wrestler. A lifetime of injuries have caught up to him, and he might want to bow out before he suffers irreparable damage.
Roman Reigns becomes the perfect Bane to Bryan’s Batman. The Tribal Chief has become WWE’s top villain in less than half a year, and a match with Daniel Bryan has already been teased. If Bryan wins the Rumble, you can expect the American Dragon to once again become a WWE Champion.
Does WWE see too much of Eddie Guerrero in Angel Garza?

Few men in wrestling can be as charming as Angel Garza. The former NXT Cruiserweight Champion is a goldmine that WWE have not excavated yet.
WWE played it safe by pairing him with Andrade and Zelina Vega. In a short amount of time, Garza was outshining his tag partner, and a single’s run beckoned him.

Unfortunately for Garza, WWE stuck him in one miserable feud after the other. Now, he is cast as a romantic, rose-wielding buffoon when he should be booked as the next Eddie Guerrero.
Garza is as smooth as Andrade in the ring. He is as lovable and hateable as Eddie was, and with the right booking, he can be WWE’s newest Latino sensation.
