Since the UFC-WWE merger that resulted in the $21.4 billion TKO’s formation, things have been going on in the WWE. There have been good things like John Cena and Dwayne The Rock Johnson returning. There have been bad things like 100+ employees getting laid off or released. And now there has been a surprising thing like TKO’s first signee that the company and Vince McMahon are going all out for.

Since the merger, there has been constant change in the WWE, but no one could have expected the company to promote their first signee so much.

Jade Cargill is TKO’s first official signee, and Vince McMahon goes all out

For months, Jade Cargill’s time in AEW has been questioned. Despite being over with the fans since her debut, she’s expressed her displeasure with the booking choices. While the speculations did hint at Cargill signing on to WWE, there were still some naysayers. The WWE is promoting her as the biggest TKO signee of the year.

Now, the WWE has put all the doubt to rest as they officially announced Cargill is joining the company. However, this wasn’t any regular announcement. The WWE announced her arrival, followed by pictures of her training at the performance center. Following this was a video of her arriving at the performance center. There were several interviews taken to promote her joining the WWE.

And the icing on the cake was Triple H and other WWE stars welcoming her to the WWE. These five things have never been done before for any wrestler joining the WWE. The amount of effort put into promoting her shows how much Vince McMahon is betting on her to be a hit.

She said about her arrival in the WWE, “I’m not going to take anything for granted. No one will say, and no one has ever said, ‘Jade is lazy.’” Before leaving AEW, she expressed her gratitude to the company for giving her a start in pro wrestling. She previously had her WWE tryouts in 2019, but it did not result in a WWE contract. However, four years later, we are looking at a different Cargill.

Expectations for Cargill are massive after exponential growth in AEW

The Jacksonville University graduate captured the attention of the AEW universe during her debut. On November 11, 2020, she interrupted Cody Rhodes during his segment. She showed her bold attitude, and people got their first look at the 5’10 superstar in the making.

With a muscular physique and an extraordinary aura, thanks to AEW, fans have high hopes she will shine in the WWE. Add her 61 wins undefeated streak in AEW, and you have a certified star on your hands. She is way more polished as a wrestler than she was back in 2019. The former TBS Champion has fans excited for the women’s division.
