“Finally Someone Said It”-Fans Side With WWE Legend Who Brings Up Dominik Mysterio’s Grandest Embarrassment

Dominik Mysterio is turning out the most despised heel in WWE. Week in and week out, Dom along with Rhea Ripley continues to insult his opponents and legends. The arrogance of his title run is being felt by fans as Mysterio Jr has now disrespected another WWE legend.

The member of Judgment Day recently disrespected Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, causing an outpouring of support from fans for Michaels. 

Dominik Mysterio continues his controversial title run

Dominik Mysterio retained his title successfully in a triple-threat match against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in arguably the match of the night, at NXT. 

The three wrestlers tore the house down, delighting the fans in the arena and elevating the North American Championship.

However, despite retaining the title, Dominik didn’t get any laurels because of the interference by Rhea Ripley. Ripley, who distracted Ali, allowed Dom to steal the victory by pinning Wes Lee. 

To add to that, backstage footage from WWE has caused more heat for the champion. 

In the segment, you can see Shawn Michaels extending a handshake to congratulate the champ, but Dom refuses to shake it and walks away with Ripley. An angry Michaels then gave him a stern reply, winning applause from fans on social media. The Heartbreak Kid retorted by saying “Your daddy should have spanked your a*s”

  This is a complete U-turn from last week’s NXT, as Dom was the favorite among fans on social media heading into The Great American Bash.

With fans being thunderous behind Michaels, the reactions generated were brutal‌.

“THANK YOU SHAWN” Fans unanimously side with Michaels 

Michaels, who works with NXT talent, post his retirement, met with fans online who wanted him to teach Dominik a harsh lesson.  

Some fans wanted HBK to tune up the band with some sweet chin music.

“Imagine if Shawn Michaels would of hit him with a sweet chin music like the old days. That would of been golden”

“Prime Shawn would’ve kicked both of there teeth down there throat”

Others supported Shawn for the lack of disrespect shown by Mysterio Jr.

“Ok not shaking HBK’s hand is where I draw the line f you Dom”

“You said it HBK. You are the best.Another win by cheating for baby Dominick by Rhea. Those belts should be relinquished by those two. So unworthy of them. Cheating all the time. What a mess they are”

The outrageous support continued for Michaels.

“THANK YOU SHAWN! Finally someone said it!”

“I agree with HBK, Dom should have got his butt whipped when he was a kid, Dom and Rhea (in charcater) show no respect to Shawn, the guy is legend and HOF’er damn it, SCREW THE BOTH OF YOU!!!! #NOTCOOL”

“Man this is why Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler 👏”

While Dom defended his title successfully, he still continues to get picked apart by fans worldwide. One wonders if the heat will ever fade away for Dominik Mysterio.
