Cody Rhodes is one of the most promising pro wrestlers ever. Hailing from the legendary Rhodes wrestling family, Cody Rhodes has come a long way. After a not-so-successful initial career at WWE, the 37-year-old would leave it in 2016.

Rhodes would venture out to other independent wrestling promotions and try his luck out there. And fortunately, he would hit it right off the mark. After featuring and co-finding AEW, Rhodes would return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, and become one of the most over-stars.

However, soon after his return, Rhodes would tear his pectoral muscle and be sidelined with injury. He would return earlier this year at Royal Rumble 2023 and win the event by eliminating Gunther in the end. His win granted him a main-event title match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39.

Recently, at the Rich Eisen show, Rhodes revealed about Peacock and a filming crew shooting a documentary on him, something similar to what WWE had done for Roman Reigns eight years ago when he main-evented WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar in 2015.

What did Cody Rhodes say about WWE filming a documentary on him?

Eight years ago, before WrestleMania 31, WWE filmed a documentary on Roman Reigns being in the main-event of WrestleMania 31 and his path there. Similarly, this year, WWE is doing a similar documentary with The American Nightmare.

The documentary team filmed his return at WrestleMania, his injury, his comeback from it, and his eventual win at Royal Rumble. Rhodes claimed that the documentary might have no end since the team just keeps filming. He said, “Peacock is shooting a documentary on me that is what I kind of dubbed the documentary has no ending. They just keep filming, keep shooting. So I won the Royal Rumble, I came back. I torn by pec, punche the ticket to WrestleMania, the biggest WrestleMania of all time in the main event. Finally, finally perfect. “

Furthermore, when Rich Eisen suggested Rhodes winning the title at ‘Mania could be the ending for it, he would answer in the affirmative. The 37-year-old said, “if they had it their way, Sunday WrestleMania Roman Reigns winning the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. That would be a beautiful ending.”

If Rhodes wins at WrestleMania, he would be the first from his family to ever hold the WWE World Championship and record history. Both his father and brother failed to capture the gold during their career. Currently, fans are rooting for Rhodes to win at ‘Mania, and break Roman Reigns’ 900-day reign.
