Hulk Hogan has faced several foes during his tenure as a wrestler. So, it’s only natural that the legend has also endured a fair amount of insults from his rivals. Perhaps one of the most personal of these insults was when he was feuding with Kurt Angle in 2005. Angle, being a heel, did not hold back on his words and ended up getting too personal with his insult.
In an attempt to provoke the babyface, he targeted his daughter Brooke Hogan. ‘The American Hero’, without any guilt, took a cheap shot at Hogan’s daughter. While Angle was successful in getting ‘The Hulkster’ to lose his cool, he ended up regretting it later.

Angle was revisiting the taping of Monday Night Raw from July 4th, 2005 on ‘The Kurt Angle Show’. While the WWE Hall of Famer was past the age of 30 in the episode, he didn’t hesitate to call out Brooke Hogan, who was merely 17 at the time. During that time, the frame mainly focused on Hogan and Angle’s rivalry.
In the old clip, Angle can be heard talking about Hogan’s 17-year-old daughter, “The one person that I would like to make tap out even more than you, most of all, is your daughter Brooke.” To this moment, the 54-year-old now reacted, “Of course. If Carlito did it, then the Olympic hero should do it too,” recalling his old heel friend Carlito in the statement.
As a father, ‘The Hulkster’ was irate and punished the heel immediately for his words. Angle was not apologetic for the cheap shot back then. However, now, recalling the incident of dragging a 17-year-old girl into the feud hits Angle hard.

18 years have passed since the incident and Kurt Angle has grown out of his heel persona. The wrestling legend now realizes his mistake in the promo. Although The Olympic Hero is not guilty of upsetting Hogan, he ‘feels like sh*t’ for delivering such lines about a young girl. This is because the former wrestler now has four daughters of his own. So, perhaps he can relate to how he would’ve felt if it had been his daughter instead in the place of Brooke.

After accepting the guilt, the WWE Hall of Famer also apologized to God for his past actions as a heel in WWE. Even though he received the consequences of his actions immediately after at the hands of Hollywood Hogan, it took him almost two decades to confess his true feelings about the incident.
