There is no one more decorated in the wrestling industry than Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan put together. The two men who led the wrestling industry through the Golden Era from opposite sides have had remarkable careers.
Both of them even had remarkable post-careers, working for WWE during PLEs or scheduling their own PPVs for a last farewell. While both of them have butted heads before, they never saw each other eye to eye.

Both in WCW and in WWE, Flair, and Hogan were involved in storylines together, but reports suggest that their real-life relations aren’t friendly.
While others may shelf this up as wrestlers having egos and being jealous of each other, the truth is far more logical. Or so, Flair thinks as he reveals that it wasn’t either of them but this WCW legend who brought cracks in their friendship.
Ric Flair makes his relationship with Hulk Hogan clear
On his podcast, To Be The Man, Ric Flair said, “Everybody wants to think there was animosity with me and Hulk. Hulk didn’t sign my checks. Eric did. Eric f*cked me every time he turned around. When he sees my documentary, he is still a prick in it. He’s still a prick. He’s an arrogant prick. You got to see what he says to me in this, and then they go: ‘He said a lot of good things, Ric. Well, this kind of fits the narrative.’ I said, ‘It sure did. It’s dead on. He’s just a prick. I’d love to do it one on one.’”
Eric Bischoff is still, to this day, one of the most controversial people involved in the wrestling business. Most times in WCW, people weren’t able to fathom his decisions and others called him a genius.
But according to Flair, he was instrumental in breaking up the tag team and would’ve had so much potential.

While they never agreed, the two legends had some splendid matches during both of their peaks. Both respected each other enough that when it came to throwing it down in the ring, Flair and Hogan put on a show for the centuries.
