Fans Worry for Recently Returned Superstar’s Future After Triple H Gave Him the Burial Treatment: “Beyond Disrespectful”

Karrion Kross has failed to make an impact in WWE ever since his career was revived by Triple H. For the past few weeks, Kross has been feuding with AJ Styles. The latest edition of SmackDown saw the duo collide one-on-one. However, Kross ended up being the subject of a near-squash match at the hands of AJ Styles. 

Additionally, Kross received very embarrassing treatment from WWE during his entrance. This has led to the belief among fans that the SmackDown star is on the verge of being released from the Stamford-based company. 

Karrion Kross’ entrance was not even televised on SmackDown

Karrion Kross was released in 2020 due to the budget cuts that followed the global pandemic. However, the 37-year-old star was brought back to WWE after Triple H took over the creative reins from Vince McMahon. Even though Triple H tried reinvigorating Kross’ floundering wrestling career, the latter failed to develop the charisma necessary to become a respectable star in WWE. 

On SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, AJ Styles humiliated Karrion Kross by defeating him in less than three minutes. The fact that WWE cut to a commercial break during his entrance, however, is even more embarrassing. At this point, Kross has been reduced to a jobber after continuously losing to stars like Rey Mysterio, Drew McIntyre, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles. 

Despite going on the offensive early in the match, Kross conceded defeat after being struck by the Phenomenal Forearm. WWE Universe is now convinced that there is no hope left for Karrion Kross.

Nevertheless, Kross was also seen wrestling the match with a taped thigh, leading to speculation that the star may be injured.

While many fans believe that WWE is burying Karrion Kross, it is also possible that the creative team is taking some time to reassess Karrion Kross’s career. So far, Kross has not been a part of any storylines.

Additionally, he has not even competed in WWE’s premium live events. Taking notice of Kross’ entrance being cut off on SmackDown, fans expressed their disappointment in WWE for ruining the SmackDown talent. Here are a few reactions from Twitter.

Although Karrion Kross is currently having a banal run in the WWE, there’s no denying that is a great talent when it comes to wrestling. WWE will have to involve him in an intense storyline to save his career.

To be fair, things don’t look very good for Karrion Kross. If he fails to get the crowd to root for him, he may be on his way out of the Stamford-based company.

Indeed, multiple gimmick changes did not help gentrify Karrion Kross’s in-ring character. It remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
