Fans Show Anger at Triple H and Vince McMahon via WWE’s YouTube Channel Following WrestleMania 39

WrestleMania night 2 brought the biggest shock to most of the WWE fans when Cody Rhodes lost to Roman Reigns in the much-hyped main event match at SoFi stadium, California. With the story behind Rhodes’ quest and redemption, he looked set to win the WWE Championship. But then Solo Sikoa came to Reigns’ help and hit Rhodes with a Samoan Spike while Heyman distracted the referee. This allowed Reigns the golden chance to hit the spear and pin his opponent.

This marked the tragic end of the American Nightmare’s long-lived dream of bringing the WWE Champion title home for the sake of his late father, Dusty Rhodes. Many promos and interviews touched upon this sensitive subject several time ahead of the marquee. However, it was not the night that Rhodes and his fans imagined,

Fans let their displeasure know on the outcome of the Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns match.

There was a lot of speculation and assumption regarding Rhodes’s potential to end Reigns’ historic title run to be the new champion this year, ever since the match was made official. From analysts to fans, everyone thought Rhodes’s victory over Reigns would make perfect sense. But Triple H has something else in his head and the shocking outcome is proof of that.

The majority of the fans took out their anger on Triple H and Vince McMahon, given that a recent YouTube video consisting of the highlights of the Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns WrestleMania match on WWE’s official channel saw a major increase in dislikes. That too happened within a very short period.

Though during a post-match interview, Triple H addressed the shocking result and had his formal justification for it, it didn’t suffice in respect of fans’ sentiments. Within less than 24 hours, another major disappointment came in the form of the RAW after WrestleMania episode.

Usually Raw after WrestleMania has some surprises, thrills, new storylines, and new shades of characters on offer to the fans. But last night’s Raw episode didn’t come close to the expectations. WWE faithful was upset over the poor handling of the women’s segment, many late rewrites, and a few more unwanted booking decisions.

The reason came to light later when it has been confirmed that Vince McMahon is already back with his greater control over creative following a blockbuster merger deal with UFC.  Overall, Triple H and Vince McMahon are not in the good books of the majority fanbase as long as the current circumstances keep prevailing.

Speaking of Cody Rhodes, he was mercilessly beaten down by Brock Lesnar just before the main event of RAW. We are yet to see what else awaits Rhodes as he begins his new chapter in the Stamford-based company.
