Jon Bernthal is quite a well-known and renowned actor. He is known for his work in The Walking Dead and also for his entertaining podcast Real Ones. But he attained mainstream fame when he played the superhero Punisher in the MCU series Daredevil in 2016.

Fans couldn’t get enough of his acting ability and the way in which he portrayed a polarizing character. Moreover, the success he contributed with his immaculate portrayal led to the development of the series The Punisher in 2017. The television show had two seasons until the show was finally canceled in 2019. But fans to date remember Bernthal for his role as The Punisher.

And fans just recently got to know that Bernthal had a significant bond with the WWE Hall Of Famer. This left wrestling and movie fans dumbstruck. However, the news came as a surprise delight to many as both stars are really cool in real life. We are talking about WWE legend Kurt Angle.

Bernthal is married to Erin Angle, who is the niece of Kurt Angle. That makes Angle Bernthal’s uncle-in-law. The legendary wrestler once even shared a pic with Bernthal and his niece Erin after an episode of RAW with the caption, “A very special WWE Raw tonight in Ontario, Ca. My niece Erin and my nephew @jonnybernthal and their 3 beautiful children came to see the show. #AngleFamilyReunion”.

Wrestling fans were pretty surprised but also pleased to learn of this family connection. The WWE Universe showcased their eagerness and delight by engaging in speculation over how the Hollywood star could use a signature move of Kurt Angle.
