Fans Furious With WWE After Bad Booking For Shayna Baszler on WWE Raw

WWE Raw witnessed some tragic booking when Shayna Baszler lost to Reginald. This comes after last week’s loss to the Women’s Tag Team Champions where Reginald cost them a victory. These are trying times for every Superstar, but it feels unfair towards one of WWE’s most dominant superstars.

Shayna Baszler- A victim of bad booking

Unlike Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler has a huge following from the WWE Universe. Once described as the most dangerous woman on the roster, Baszler has gone from being a threat to a joke.

On Raw, the joke got less funny after she suffered an embarrassing defeat to Reginald.

The former manager of Carmella is meant to create shenanighans when necessary, but by no means is he a future champion. He’s talented and can do outrageously entertaining stuff, but in no universe can he hold a clean win over the longest reigning NXT Women’s Champion.

Some could argue that Baszler held a championship for much of her main roster career, but that doesn’t make her immune to bad booking. After losing her WrestleMania 36 match to Becky Lynch, her place on the card has slipped. The tag team with Nia Jax was a consolation, and the tag title win was a moment of redemption for her.

WWE needs to put Baszler into the main event picture and have her challenge for the Raw Women’s Championship. The creative team can build the adventures of Nia and Reginald separately, but they need to cut the Queen of Spades loose from that story.

She already has history with Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley, making a SummerSlam challenge an exciting prospect.

How does Alexa Bliss fit in this picture?

Since her alliance with the Fiend ended at WrestleMania, Alexa Bliss has shifted her focus to the women’s division. She announced herself on Raw during a tag-team match and hasn’t taken her eyes off them since. She has even identified a potential target that she’ll set out to eliminate.

That target could be Shayna Baszler. The cause of her defeat was the exploding ring posts, allowing Reginald to roll her up for the win.

After that, she confronted Alexa and even insulted her doll, Lily. This means Shayna will receive her comeuppance, but it’ll be a crime if Bliss’ corny gimmick goes over a beast like Shayna.

If we get Shayna vs Alexa Bliss at Hell in a Cell, Baszler needs to go over. WWE needs to build more challengers for the Raw Women’s Championship apart from Charlotte Flair and Asuka.
