This weekend, ‘The Man’ Becky Lynch is going to compete against the 7-time women’s champion Trish Stratus in Saudi Arabia in the ‘Night of Champions’. WWE Universe is quite excited to see their clash as they have been expecting it since Stratus’ return to the WWE.
But even before their official clash, Lynch launched an “Absolute Killshot” on Stratus at this week’s Raw by bringing up an infamous segment of her from the ‘Attitude Era’. And since then, both stars have been part of talks among the WWE fans.

On this week’s Monday Night Raw, the WWE superstars Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus engaged in a contract-signing promo.
During the promo, Lynch recalled Stratus’ infamous segment with Vince McMahon back in the attitude era. The segment was when Mcmahon asked Stratus to bark like a dog and she did that with tears in her eyes.
When Lynch mentioned the segment, the 7-time women’s champion was clearly embarrassed. She flipped the table and left the ring in annoyance.
“If you think barking like a dog is embarrassing, just wait till I whoop your a** at Night of Champions.”, said Becky Lynch.
If we talk about WWE Universe’s thoughts on this promo, then there are mixed views. Some fans are praising Becky Lynch for cutting the amazing promo, while others didn’t find it fascinating as that era of women’s wrestling was quite different from the modern one.

The reason why some fans are not happy with the reference is that they found the segment between Stratus and McMahon quite controversial. It also reminded fans about the time when female wrestlers were usually treated badly in the industry.
