Roman Reigns vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 41—Who truly deserves the Bloodline crown?

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson returned to WWE earlier this year to join the Board of Directors of TKO Group Holdings. In parallel to that, the wrestling legend was included in the plans for WrestleMania XL, where he was initially scheduled to fight Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

It was a dream match for many fans, but it came at the least opportune time. Cody Rhodes had earned the support of a large sector of the fans in his goal of finishing his story. The decision to remove Rhodes from the titular orbit to the detriment of The Rock generated a climate of unrest and opposition that led the company to radically change its plans.

This resulted in a heel turn from the legend, which ultimately became the highlight of Road to WrestleMania. On the contrary, Roman Reigns has now turned babyface in order to dethrone Solo Sikoa as the Head of the Table, as he took over the Bloodline in the absence of the Tribal Chief. Not just that, he also removed Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso from the group to add Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa to the mix.

This has led many to speculate that possibly the Rock could be the real mastermind behind the storyline, and it would end up with a Bloodline Civil War at WrestleMania with the original group going against the new faction. A Twitter user by the name of @reigns_era shared a fantasy booking where he called for a match between Reigns and the Rock for the Ula Fala, and it surely was an interesting call.

Fans surely loved the idea, as they wanted their dream match to take place. So, wasting no time, they were quick to voice out their support. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, the WWE would listen to their voices.

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 41—Who truly deserves the Bloodline crown?

Have an interesting take?

Taking to the comments, fans were quick to show their support for the booking. Well, the way the WWE is booking the story right now, this is definitely what the Stamford-based promotion already has in plans. And it is just a matter of time before we finally get to see it come to fruition before our eyes.

Some fans couldn’t help but reveal what they believe the storyline would look like going forward. With major emphasis being put on the Ula Fala being bigger than a title for the two Samoans as they fight to determine the true leader.

However, not every fan wanted it to be a match for the Ula Fala. Some wanted the Brahma Bull to fight for the Undisputed Universal Championship that might get into the hands of Roman Reigns before WrestleMania.
