A brilliant blend of kayfabe and reality is used to present the staged performances of pro wrestling to the audience. But things don’t always go as they are planned. Sometimes the superstars go off script and give in to their emotions. Even the best performers find it hard to contain the emotions of happiness, anger, or rivalry.
In the Diva’s roster, the rumors of hatred in a common thing. But outside the WWE, they normally deny any speculations of rivalry with their fellow workers. However, that’s not always the case. Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch both are the Divas of the top tier in WWE. Last year WWE decided to move SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch to Raw while Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was drafted to SmackDown. This left the two champions holding the opposite titles to their show. In order to solve this problem, WWE decided to simply exchange titles between the two Divas.
During the exchange, Charlotte Flair dropped the Raw women’s championship title on the floor. After getting yelled at by the official of WWE for dropping the title, Charlotte made the exchange peacefully. After the incident, both the female wrestlers got into a heated argument backstage, which led to Flair being escorted from the building.
Charlotte Flair on dropping the Title
While having a conversation with Steve Austin in the Broken Skulls Session, Flair explained that dropping the title was an accident. She said, “You’ve got two women who wanna be the best. I wish I could sit here and tell you that I did it on purpose, but if people need me to be that bad guy, I’ll be that bad guy. Things happen on screen. I would never go on a scripted television show and purposely do something on the purpose.”
She made her position clear on the incident. She stated that the belt-dropping incident was not on purpose and she has no rivalry with Becky Lynch. But the netizens seem to disagree with her clarification.
Twitter went wild on The Queen Charlotte Flair
After the interview, people started to call Flair a liar on Twitter at her statement on the show. There were multiple reactions from the WWE fans.

One person called her fake.
She seems so fake. From all the snippets on twitter she appears not to be a very genuine person.

Why did Charlotte pull the belt away? Please she did it on purpose. Becky was suppose(in the script) to grab the belt, kinda hard to grab it when Charlotte is pulling the belt away from Becky. She was trying to make Becky look bad. You don't always need to defend Charlotte my guy
